HONORING OUR VETERANS Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11. LEAF REMOVAL & CLEANUP Yes, it is leaf cleanup time here in the Hagerstown, Maryland, area. However, it is too late to over-seed the lawn (there is not enough time for grass seed germination). By aerating your lawn now, you provide the following benefits to your lawn and its root system: Oxygen gets to the roots and the soil allowing it to breathe. Fertilizers and nutrients get access to the root system. Water is able to better soak into the soil and reach the root system. Helps to break up thatch.
