Grosh's Lawn Service does not recommend aeration and overseeding  if the lawn is not under a Lawn Care Treatment Program (LCTP) in Hagerstown MD and Williamsport MD . Here is why we believe you will not receive the desired results: When the aeration is being done  on your lawn at your home or commercial property all the weed seeds that are in the soil will have a chance to germinate and compete with what grass there is for the soil moisture here in Washington County MD. Aeration will spread the weeds around the lawn making it worse. improper mowing height is also an issue as the shorter the grass is cut/scalped the more the soil is exposed to the sunlight allowing weed seeds to germinate and also stressing the grass due to scalping. Grosh's Lawn Service was hired to clean up this rental property in Hagerstown MD to comply with Washington County MD Weed Control Laws and regulations. The Lawn and Landscape all need cleaned up and all the debris removed. All debris was loaded up and hauled away so that the debris pile would not attract wildlife to the property creating another hazard with wild animals.
