Control Bagworms Landscaping Contractor  It is that time of year here in Hagerstown MD when the bagworms are actively feeding on evergreen trees and shrubs around the July 4th holiday. We received a message today from a Maryland Ave. resident that the bagworms were feeding on her evergreen shrub.                      Grosh's Lawn Service Tip of the Week If you have a weed issue in the lawn, please let us know and we will take care of them at no charge. When we did the first lawn care treatment we only fertilizer the grass and put down crabgrass preventer (it was too early for broadleaf weed control). With all the rain any weed seeds that made it into your lawn from the birds, wind or other environmental conditions germinated and started to grow. Never pull the weeds as they will only grow back. Randy sprayed for broadleaf weeds on this last treatment and this should address the issues with weeds. If you have weeds after 10-14 days (give the weed killer time to work down into the roots of the weeds) email me and Randy will stop out and spot treat the areas.
