A purple plum tree was not taking root on one side of the tree so our client asked us to stake the tree thinking the wind was the culprit here in Hagerstown MD. After a year we removed the stake and the tree was no better so we started to dig out away from the tree and found this large rock and a couple of others. On this Tree Trimming and Tree Thinning job we were thinning Bradford Pear trees to help remove some of the interior branches and remove some weight to help keep the Bradford Pears from splitting here in Washington County MD.
