The existing hardscape was removed, all the existing shrubs and Japanese maple tree were also removed. We started with a clean slate and we built a new flagstone hardscape wall. We then back filled the existing landscape bed and planted all new varieties of shrubs that are well suited for this location. Fresh hardwood mulch was then installed to enhance the curb appeal of the landscape project but to also help with weed control and allow the soil to bank moisture which helps with all raised landscape beds.
