Landscape Contractor Rescues Dog Clear Spring MD Washington County MD

Tom and Karen Grosh owners of Grosh's Lawn Service were on their way home on Sunday July 3, 2016 from the Clear Spring MD Fireworks.

At 10:40 pm on MD RT.56/Big Pool Road in Clear Spring they came across a car stopped at just east of their lane and the gentlemen stop them and said that he almost hit this dog and he was not from the area and did not know what to do.

Tom Grosh took the dog right away and said that we live right here and that we will take her and find the owners of the dog.

Tom and Karen looked at the dog tag and it had a Baltimore MD phone number so they called the number right away.

Tom spoke with the lady who answered the phone and asked if she was missing a dog and she said yes.

Here we came to find out the she was located at River Bend Park in Falling Waters WV and Tom and Karen's home is in Maryland. As Tom and Karen have 2 dogs in their family they knew what to do right away!

The dog (Bunk) swam the Potomac River and came up through Tom and Karen's farm and out onto MD RT. 56.

Tom and Karen were there at the exact moment they were needed to help Bunk find her owners! Tom and Karen drove to Williamsport MD to reunite Bunk with her owners and as they drove down the road Bunk looked up at Karen and then licked Karen's face!

What a special moment!

We each have a chance in life to make a difference each day in someones and in an animal's life!

We were so Blessed that God had us at the right place at the right time this evening to help Bunk get home safely!
