Soon,
landscape beds will be coming alive with vibrant colors. That
means now is the time to schedule your spring mulching.
We love to mulch in the spring before all the spring flowers
and shrubs are blooming. This provides your landscape beds with
contrasting colors in preparation for the additional colors that
will bloom in the near future.

commercial property here, in the Hagerstown, Maryland, area.

CUTTING AND BRUSH REMOVAL
|
|
|
There is
still time to get your brush cutting and brush removal project
completed before the new spring growth. It is far easier when the
wild trees, such as Ailanthus, in addition to vines, shrubs, and
poison ivy, are not leafed out as we can see everything more
clearly.

GIVING
BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY
|
|
|
Grosh's
Lawn Service is committed to giving back to the communities where
we live and work. Since beginning in 1990, Grosh's Lawn Service
has given at least 5% of our profits to local not-for-profit
organizations in Washington County, Maryland, and the world.
We believe in helping our community, and sharing our blessings
with others, that way, we all profit!

We Finished
Strong in 2019
As we finished out 2019, Grosh’s Lawn Service ended the year on a
positive note. Tom and Karen made donations to the following
organizations:
Heifer
International
Grosh's Lawn Service donated 50 flocks of ducks. These ducks will
help support the lives of families in need by providing
protein for nourishment as well as boosting income through sales
of ducks, their eggs, feathers, and down.
Water
Mission
Grosh's Lawn Service's donation helped provide relief to people
in disaster situations by bringing safe and living water, health,
and hope to those in need.
Food for the
Poor
Our donation is supporting relief programs and projects helping
the poorest of the poor in the Caribbean and Latin America. It is
also helping to provide provide housing, water projects, health
care, emergency relief, education, and micro-enterprise to those
individuals living in these countries.
Water Pumps
The Grosh's Lawn Service donations went to installation of three
water pumps in under-served neighborhoods. These water pumps will
improve the life and health of an entire village.
School
Supplies for Children
In developing countries, poverty-stricken parents often cannot
afford books and school supplies for their children. Grosh's Lawn
Service's gift of school supplies will help children get an
education and learn how to read.
