Landscaping Contractor Hagerstown MD Annual Flowers Washington County Maryland

Local Landscaping Contractor Frost / Freezing Temperatures Hagerstown MD

As we head full steam in to Spring the weather forecasters are calling for a possible frost or freezing temperatures on Friday May 8 and Saturday May 9.

If you already have your annuals planted you will not want to take any chances so make sure you save some time to cover your annual flowers and the tender leaves of the Hydrangeas, Abelia, etc. The Japanese Maples also could take a hit if not covered.

Whatever tree, flower or shrub that gets hit with the frost or freeze will look ugly for a while and also slows down the new spring growth. The tree, flower or shrub will live through this but the annuals will need to be covered or they will die.

A little time and effort this Friday and Saturday will reward you later beautiful blossoms and leaves.

As always if you need help contact Tom at GroshsLawnService.com and we will help you but do not delay as time will very short with all that needs to be completed in a short amount of time.
