GROSH'S GRASS GAZETTE E-NEWSLETTER It’s official—fall is here! And so is fall planting and lawncare. Fall is a huge season for all things gardening, landscaping, and lawn-related, so keep reading to learn about all the ways we can help you.  And it’s the start of the holiday season as well—Columbus Day is Oct. 11, Halloween is Oct. 31, and then it’ll be Thanksgiving before you know it! We’re not just talking about some bare grass spots here—this is about those divots and holes that can cause tripping and falling! Fall is the perfect time to address it, too, and it’s part of what we do. Lawncare Treatments Did you know that fall is the best time to take care of your lawn? While year-round attention is necessary, there are certain lawn tasks that are best done in fall: Fertilizing: You can fertilize your lawn at other times during the year, but fall is the ideal time! Learn more here. Aeration: Aeration is a vitally important lawncare task, leading to a healthier lawn next year. Read about aeration benefits here, then give us a shout to schedule a visit. Soil testing: It’s hard to know how to treat your lawn and garden if you don’t know what your soil might be lacking by way of nutrients. We’ll complete a soil test for you and then recommend an action plan to get (and keep!) everything on track. We can take care of all sorts of landscape projects, so your home looks beautiful and inviting. Call Tom and let him know what you need, then take it off your to-do list once and for all.  Brush Cutting & Removal Overgrown tree seedlings, shrubs, or debris on your home, river lot, or commercial property? Poison ivy taking over? We’d be happy to get it taken care of for you. We’ll remove all of the unwanted plants and weeds and haul it off, so you can focus on the garden activities you love. Spruce Up for the Thanksgiving Holiday Is the family coming to your place for Thanksgiving? We want you to focus on food, family, and fun, so let us take care of any landscape enhancements or fall cleanup that you’ve been planning!
