Turf Management:#1-EARLY  SPRING LAWN APPLICATION to help manage & control Crabgrass. Fertilizer was applied as part of this application. All Lawn Service Treatments are completed by a Maryland, WV, PA Department of Agriculture Licensed Applicator.

Turf Management:#2-LATE SPRING LAWN APPLICATION to your lawn. This application of fertilizer will help maintain good lawn color and help promote further increases in density. Weed control was applied as necessary. All Lawn Service Treatments are completed by a Maryland, WV, PA Department of Agriculture Licensed Applicator.

Turf Management:#3-SUMMER LAWN APPLICATION Even though summer brings dry weather, reduced growth and physical stress to the grass, your lawn remains susceptible to insect damage, which is sometime mistaken for drought. This application will help control various surface feeding, grass damaging insects, but WILL NOT CONTROL GRUBS! All Lawn Treatments are completed by a Maryland, WV, PA Department of Agriculture Licensed Applicator.

Turf Management:#4-EARLY FALL LAWN APPLICATION of fertilizer & Broadleaf Weed Control Where Needed. This application of control release fertilizer and weed control will help thicken the turf and control weeds. All Lawn Service Treatments are completed by a Maryland, WV, PA Department of Agriculture Licensed Applicator.

Turf Management:#5-LATE FALL LAWN APPLICATION Heavy Application of Granular Fertilizer. It will promote vital food-making process to enable the turf to produce a strong root system, store necessary energy for withstanding the stress of winter, and promote an early spring green-up. All Lawn Service Treatments are completed by a Maryland, WV, PA Department of Agriculture Licensed Applicator.

Turf Management:#6-GRUB PREVENTER APPLICATION along with the LATE SPRING LAWN APPLICATION will be completed to keep grubs from feeding and damaging your lawn.

Grubs were very active in 2014. You may want to consider a preventative grub control application if you are not scheduled for one.

The preventative application does not need to... be watered in. Any curative treatments (after grubs are present and doing damage) must be watered in (per the label- "the label is the law" ) to move the active ingredient into the grub feeding zone to stop grub feeding. Curative treatments are more costly than preventative applications. Generally, by the time grub damage is noticed, watering / rainfall would be necessary not only to move the product in but to also help the lawn recover from the grub damage which can be substantial depending on insect populations.

Turf Management:#7-LIME APPLICATION-To receive the best results from your TURF Management Program  we recommend that you have Lime added to your lawn. Turf grasses will not grow well in highly acid soils, and since most soils in our area are acid by nature, well established lawns will require applications of lime. Acid conditions of soils can be brought about by the leaching out of calcium and magnesium, the alkaline constituents, from the soil; yearly applications of nitrogenous fertilizers; the use of organic materials, such as compost or peat moss, used to condition the soil or as a top dressing; and the washing of sulfur from the air by rains into the soil. Have the soil tested!
