Weeds do grow in the winter in some landscape beds here in the Williamsport MD area.

Winters weeds include deadnettle, bittercress, henbit and chickweed. Perennial weeds like clover, wild violets and dandelions will also grow in the winter.

Winter weeds will flower in March, but if the temperatures are warm enough in February they can start blooming.
