Be mindful of the Japanese beetle!

The Japanese beetle is considered an invasive species here in Washington County Maryland. Japanese beetles feed on the leaves, flower and fruits of over 275 plants here in Maryland according to the University of MD Extension office.

Be on the lookout for the Japanese beetle starting around mid-June here in the Hagerstown MD area. Contact Tom at GroshsLawnService.com if you find an invasion of Japanese beetles on your trees, flowers and shrubs here in the Hagerstown MD community and Washington County Maryland.
