Consider the MATURE size of the tree when planting in Hagerstown, MD!

Thinking of Planting a tree?

Now's a Great Time!

Do you have the perfect spot in mind for a new tree ? Maybe you lost a tree, or you have a less than desirable tree in your landscape.
If you're in a newer home, chances are there are still some parts of your master landscape plan to be installed. Or, if you're planning to move, your landscape may need a facelift before you put your home up for sale.

Do not "just plant a tree" and think you are doing what is best for the tree. You have to consider how big the tree will get at maturity (the size of the tree when it is full grown) so that receive the benefits of a properly selected place for the tree and tree for the location selected.
You do not want to plant any tree the grows 40 to 50' tall close to any structure within 60' of that structure. "Right Plant/Right Place".

Trees will require water during the first year to help the tree acclimate to the area planted and during times of stress from no moisture (rain or watering).

The Japanese Maple tree (below) was selected for this spot and is properly trimmed and thinned to maintain the trees shape and size for the area selected for the tree.

The tree below is the wrong tree for the area selected because the tree has had to grow along side of the house/garage and is now over the roof of the house/garage.

So always consider the maturity of the tree or shrub when planting because it always looks right when the plant is small for the area selected.
